Sheesh, Katie...It's been like 2 days!

Well I guess I can update. Jordan and Philbin seem to be friends again but I think it's a bit tense between them. But at least it's okay again.......Philbin called me at 11:30 the other night asking me to play Halo 2 with them. 11:30. Sometimes I question whether their IQ's are even 100. But yes, the point is that they were hanging out and they sounded at least okay.

School starts on Wednesday. Today is Monday, 6 PM. Roughly 41 hours left until the end of summer. You see, eighth and ninth graders get a late start as the seventh graders have like, orientation in the morning...we start at 11ish. Chelsea and I are sleeping over (or are planning to) the night before.

Nothing much to report, really...seeing as it's been like 2 days since I updated. I can't wait for Switchfoot's new CD to come out (Nothing is Sound) on September 13. Church youth group starts again on September 12 I think. Chelsea's birthday is September 16. Yeah, but that stuff hasn't happened yet sooo...yes. I'm hoping to go to the Switchfoot concert at The Premier on October 22. What else?

Hmmm....I had soccer practice again today. I don't like it much. I don't know if I've already stated this but we have 12 players and you play 11 on a field. That means that if one person is sick/injured/absent for whatever reason we have to play 90 minutes with no breaks whatsoever. The average soccer player runs about 7 miles per game...but that's in MLS. So I don't know. But that's a lot of running. Having merely 12 players also means that if 2 players are gone we have to forfeit. And we're playing in R1, the more competitive division. I want to quit so badly but I can't back out now or the team's dead.

It's now that I'm on the verge of slapping myself for not trying out for Select or Eastlake. Slap slap slap

41 hours.

I can't think of a title for this one.

Yep, I've never seen the show so..yeah.

My life is really being turned upside down right now and I feel kind of alone. Like all of my best friends are gone. I haven't seen Rach at all this summer because she was traveling for about 90% of the time. Chelsea's starting up select and Eastlake soccer this week and her relatives are visitng to "babysit" while her parents take her older sister to Gonzaga (college) and what not so I won't be seeing her for a bit. Katrina is contagious as well as...Katrina. Annie is busy with Competition dance (select) and Kaitlin is spending nearly every day with her boyfriend Greg who she's gone bananas for. Kind of disturbing in a sense. And Philbin and Jordan are no longer friends with each other. Long story and it upsets me to think about it but in summarization, they are no longer friends. Jordan goes as far to call him, "a fucking pussy whore fag blah blah blah.." (sorry if I just corrupted your mind) That's just really messed up. Jordan and Philbin are not friends. It's something I'm having difficulty digesting because they've been best friends since...when I met them, which was at the beginning of seventh grade. :[

School is coming.

I wish I could go to college. RIGHT NOW.

Smurfs

I got a HAIRCUT! I'm genuinely pleased with my haircut for once in my life. I mean, I honestly think that this is the first time in which I was not somewhat horrified. For instance, last time I went to get my hair cut I told the woman something like, "1 inch off and layers..." and she cut off about 3 inches and did weird choppy layers. And, haha, I went in today and Tara, the woman who was cutting my hair, told me that one side was longer than the other so apparently it was cut VERY poorly.

Soccer practices began last Monday. I don't like it much this year. I was on the Stars since first grade and this year I'm playing on the Zappers. I barely know anyone on that team and it's entirely new and uncomfortable...I just dislike it. It feels so much more like work than play to me. Like, soccer used to be an outlet in a sense and now it doesn't feel that way at all. I'm hoping it's going to get better.

School starts in six days now. Ughghhgh.

I went school supply shopping with my mom and sister on Monday. On Tuesday I slept over at Kaitlin's house with Annie and we talked A LOT. It was really great because I rarely see them anymore...especially Annie.

Well how's that for an update? I really haven't been doing much around here. If you want to know about Tessa....she spent a couple days in Blaine with her friends last week at someone's cabin and she continues to do 4-H stuff with the "Midnight Riders"...yesterday she and my mom were in Monroe I think doing horse show fair stuff or something I have no idea.

My dad is weird. My mom is weird.

The end.

My days are numbered.

School starts on August 31, Wednesday. I never realized how little time was left of summer and now, having just recently looked at a calendar, I am feeling sad, excited, and irritated. There are only 11 days left, I think. And this one's nearly done, so that makes simply ten. My younger sister is going to be attending Inglewood this coming year which is going to be really ANNOYING. Then when I'm a senior she'll be in my school again...at Eastlake. This is my last year of junior high and kind of my first year of high school. Kind of. Everyone's suddenly very concerned about their academic achievement because in high school things like your G.P.A. actually count for something. I don't really know why I'm worried because I've always had a 4.0 but I just AM. I'm kind of scared. Maybe because last year was kind of hellish when it came to some of the teachers/classes I got. Ughh I really, really don't want my sister at my school. The end.

Presumptuous Cab Beast!!!

Fine, Katie, sheesh. :-) Here you go.

Nothing to report, really. Last Tuesday my mom, grandma, sister and three of her friends, Chelsea, and I went shopping at the outlet mall that we stopped at while returning from Canada. This year I'm planning to be a little more experimental with my wardrobe, which means stepping away from the millions of plainish shirts. Anyway, I spent a fair fraction of my "clothing allowance" for the fall/winter seasons. Ughghghg. Then yesterday/today I slept over at Chelsea's house and we went swimming and a cat bit me which was pretty cool if you ask me. And we named some of my objects. My cell phone now goes by the name of Phillip. My left checkered etnie (uhh spelling?) is named Derek and the right checkered etnie is named Frank. They're my buddies.

I've also rediscovered Invader Zim which was my favorite show for like, two years. I love it. I absolutely love it. Don't ask me why. I just do. It's hilarious. That's where I got the title of this post from.

I REALLY need to clean my room...desperately. It's kind of disgusting...even for me.

Oh yeah and Katie...I got the AAR CD and I really love it. They're really good.

Invader's blood marches through my veins like giant radioactive rubber pants! The pants command me! Do not ignore my veins!
For you, I'm thinking a dog. Can I be a mongoose dog?
There's a pigeon on your head. You have headpigeons. Get to the nurse before they spread to the rest of the children.
INSOLENT SCHOOLBOY - it's a skin condition.
You can't keep your eyes closed forever! You have to breathe sometime!
Now, to unleash screaming temporal doom!
I am government man, come from the government. The government has sent me.
I'm an unstoppable death machine you know.

I've had it with your nonsense spread by your filthy mouth filled with... corn!
Prepare your bladder for imminent release!

You're nothing Earth boy! Go home and shave your giant head of smell with your bad self!
^Wow. Amazing?

Camping!!

From the 5th to today (7th) I went on the Annual Church Campout...about 10 families (estimating, which I'm terrible at) went along to Larrabee State Park near or in or something Bellingham. Chelsea came with my family and it was just.....awesome, I suppose.

We arrived at our campground in the early evening and Chelsea and I headed down to the "beach" which wasn't really a beach. It was more like a labyrinth of trails leading to nice rocky areas or beaches. We went to one area and found a ton of purple and orange starfish, sea urchins...etc. It was really amazing to see things like that in, um, the wild. I'd only seen them in museums and such. We "petted" the starfish and what not and climbed all over these huge rocks. Then in the night we played a lot of cards, especially BS (that would be Bird Seed).

The next day Chelsea and I were heading back to the rocky place with all the starfish when we decided to stop for awhile before going all the way down the path in order to see if we could climb down on another rocky formation. I know this isn't making any sense but hey, WHO CARES!!! ??!?! :-D So..that's when we realized that there were people all dressed up going down towards our rock place. We were kind of confused for awhile but decided to kind of ignore it because we had seen a party area at the beginning of the pathways where there's a kind of field...so logically those people might have been from the party area. So Chelsea and I were busy contemplating what would be the best route down our new rocky place to the water when this soft piano music started playing. Chelsea tapped me and I paused, about to start going down the rocks...and I turned around to where she was gesturing. There were people in like, dresses and stuff walking down the pathway. That's when we realized that this was a WEDDING. So to make you understand this...there's one long pathway that goes down to the starfish rocks. There was a small "fork" going off to the right about halfway down the long pathway and that's what we were on. We were in the aisle, more or less. It was hilarious and we didn't know what to do...I mean, this hadn't been blocked off or anything and we were taken by surprise. It was just the funniest thing ever. We waited for everyone's attention to shift from the "aisle" to the end of the pathway before we ran away.

This morning we went on a 1.5 mile hike to get to and from Lake Fragrance, which a small lake...but it was beautiful and surrounded by enormous rock walls and trees. We swam for about ten minutes total, sadly.

The end.
