I am in a GOOD mood!!!!! :)
Hello wonderful blog reader friends. Haha, that was my attempt at sounding extra cordial.
I'm in a good mood! Isn't that nice? I'm usually in a bad mood when I write blogs; people who don't know me and read these must think I'm a crazy meanie. Oh well! Hmmmm. So, this past week has been pretty great! :)
On Wednesday I went to Jamba Juice with Laura for lunch (seriously..those things are huge) because it was early release and we left at noon. We talked for awhile and that kind of meant a lot to me because I haven't been hanging out with people one on one lately at all. It's just harder to talk when you're in a big group.
THEN, Wednesday night, I went to the Talent Show at Eastlake. It was really fantastic; everyone (or, almost everyone at least, haha) was really impressive. Jamie's band played first, and they were really good. There was these other 2 guys who played bass/drums, but it was cool because it revolved around the drums...and it was really unique and cool and like, wow, I wish I could do that. A sophomore metal band played and they were awesome, of course, because they're actually really good and I think they kind of freaked people out a little bit but that's alright. Two kids sang the Breaking Free song from High School Musical, which I hate, but they were really amazing...like, that's no exaggeration - they really sounded like they should be on the Disney channel or something.. hahaha! It blew everyone away. There was a folk singer I wasn't too crazy about because her song kind of had like two lines repeat for three minutes, but she had a good voice... ahha, and then there were two girls who dressed up as witches complete with green...er, skin paint as the evil witch and blonde curls and white dress for Glenda or whatever her name is.. that was pretty weird.. they sang... but........umm, yeah.... hahaha, and one group of people kind of confused everyone because I'm not sure whether they were intended to be a comedy act or a serious thing; they "played" instruments except one guy actually sang/played, and this rather large girl (I don't mean that in a mean way - we're all pretty sure it was done on purpose...) ran around in very very skintight clothing banging on a tambourine. But the very last act, a band, was really amazing. They could have been Snow Patrol or something, seriously.
On Friday I went to Emily's house before the Skyline vs. Issaquah game (I'm still not sure why I went......but...) and that was nice. If anyone ever thinks my room is messy, you should take a look at Emily's. Then you will learn to appreciate the beauty of only five items of clothing on the floor... I swear. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was literally impossible to walk on the actual carpet of the floor. Laura and I counted eleven bras on the ground without digging around, there was a two week old yogurt cup on the floor, and a week old glass of milk...remnants. Haha, it was funny though, really. The Skyline/Issaquah game was pretty fun, I guess, at least for being a game of two schools I don't go to nor have many people I know who go to those schools. Wow that sentence made no sense.. Anyway, we headed back to Emily's house and hung out in the hot tub for like another hour. And she's having a halloween party on Saturday, hooray. Then I went home!
The next day...I love how I share every detail of my life. But it's okay because if you don't care then why are you reading?
Anyway, as I said, the next day... I went to a movie with Kaitlin and Jenna. We saw Employee of the Month. It was alright; I was expecting it to be better from what I had heard from other people, but it was fine. We didn't get popcorn though. What a heartbreaker. :( Jenna is the craziest/funniest driver... like.. hahahha. I don't even know what I was going to say so nevermind. She's really funny though. Ummm. We all went back to my house and watched Drop Dead Gorgeous (funny movie. Watch if you haven't seen it), which Jenna is obsessed with maybe to a weird point. ahah. It was really nice to see Kaitlin of all people because we never hang out anymore. I really appreciated that... but the next day I paid for my procrastination and spent the ENTIRE day working on my math lab.
Sunday night I went to Youth Group and still hadn't finished my math lab, but youth group served as a nice break...and I got to see Becky and Jamie, and meet Jamie's girlfriend, who is really nice and made her own skinny jeans. Which is really cool. We played a random playdoh game at youth group and it was pretty fun. I made a pretty good dog..and we talked about windows..and then I went back home and worked until 1 in the morning and then went to bed.
Then four hours later I woke up and went to school. We're doing a pretty cool thing in art - that scratchboard thing. I'm doing this tiger running through the snow and it's turning out pretty cool looking. It's a challenge though because I've never done anything like this before, but it'll come out alright! AND......And then went to a required math study session for a test that she decided to extend AGAIN and then I came home. And I feel really, really good because I didn't procrastinate when I got home! I mean, I didn't do homework, but I worked out. 3 miles, weights, and ab workout. And I feel fantastic now!!!!! Whooooo! So now I'm going to go and get my homework done, even some ahead of time, and then I'm going to make some money by cleaning or something, then make myself some ravioli, and then shower...or maybe I'll do that earlier!!!, and then I'm going to sleep at a decent time. Whoo! I'm not going to let the fact that I have PE tomorrow morning bring me down!!!!!!!
HAVE A LOVELY DAY!
