The Big Chunky Update

Alright, so...last Monday everyone left left and I think Chelsea slept over but honestly...I can't remember.

On Thursday I went to family counseling but I don't really feel like sharing details. I have realized that I got the information incorrect and I'd like to go back. Thursday evening was spent with Kaitlin and her entertaining family. She had five cousins + an aunt and uncle in town. They drove up in an RV from Arkansas, where she's basically from. There's Matt, Alex, Jeff, Tori, and Isabelle. We were at Pine Lake for awhile and then went back to Kaitlin's house. It was so funny because Jeff (who, from what I could gather, was a fairly typical basketball player kid) like fell in love with Annie, who, while she is definitely pretty, is your typical bookwormy/Harry Potter/LotR/yayorlandobloom child. Her family is so great (Kaitlin's, not Annie's). Her aunt was like tackling her and pinning her to the ground. Cool?

Sunday I got to see Megan, a friend from school who I haven't seen at all this summer. I went to her birthday party and some guys from school were in the house next door. They threw hamburgers, watermelon, and water balloons at us. Stupid. I left Megan's at 9:30 AM (we went to bed at 3:30...at least I did, because that's when the lights finally went off and the loud music ceased).

Then at noon (still on Sunday) I went paintballing with Kaitlin and some people (mostly guys) from my youth group. There were only like twelve people going so we played against another youth group that I think was from Timberline. I was put on their team because the refs switched it up a little. Overall I'm glad I went no matter how scared crapless (I'm being polite, thankyouverymuch) I was. I was shot in the head. Not in the mask, the head. Then the mask. Two kids behind trees went psycho on me. It was an awesome experience. :] At one point I had my youth group director pinned behind a stump and I shot her arm. Unfortunately we were playing vitals so it didn't count as a 'kill' but whatever. It was just funny because I was unloading on her. When the games were over and we were clearing up to go back home everyone started taking unused paintballs and opening them in some creative ways. The most original way was by Jamie...putting it in the mouth and biting. Gross.

After paintballing we were all sweaty and gross and painty and went back to the church where we hung out for like two hours. We had pizza and cookies and soda and then played hide and seek (yes, we did...14-16 year olds I'm thinking). It was really fun, actually. Note to self: hiding in elevators does not work.

On Tuesday Jamie and Chelsea came over. The same Jamie that put a paintball in his mouth. Yes well anyways we played Halo for like an hour and I am happy to say that I pwned everyone. Then we went outside and it was hilarious (so hilarious that I almost peed in my pants) because my mom had overfilled the pool outside. Jamie went up, being the curious specimen that he is, and poked the pool. It like, collapsed on one of it's sides 3/4 of the way to the ground, if you can imagine this by my terrible description. All this water just went gushing out and it covered a HUGE chunk of the yard out by the garden if you know where that is. It was like a pond. Almost a foot deep. It was also funny because we all reacted differently--I laughed so hard and worked really hard to keep from peeing in my pants, Chelsea screamed and ran to try and fix it but just got really wet, and then Jamie stood there in horror. So we all went back inside after playing in our pond and getting really wet...and I realized I didn't have any jeans for Jamie to wear. Yeah, he wears girl pants too. He's just one of those people. So anyways, I made him wear my penguin pajama pants because I had nothing else and then Chelsea put makeup on him. It was awesome, simply awesome. Then we took pictures. Mwahahahaha.

They came over again yesterday and we watched Million Dollar Baby. I loved that movie. It was just brilliant. If you haven't seen it, watch it. Chelsea slept over and now I am here, typing away. Oh yeah, and Chelsea and Jamie are going out which makes me happy. Yayayayaya!

Tomorrow we are going on the Church Campout Annual Thingermaboob near Bellingham. We'll be by the ocean. Chelsea's coming with and I can't wait...this should be funnnnn, man!! We'll be gone until the 7th I think. :) So I'll update again sometime around then, hopefully.

School supply lists arrived in the mail and I'm dreading you-know-what. :( Less than a month left of freedom and relief...alas, nothing gold can stay.

And lastly...Katie, update your dumb blog!!!

The Pointless Post

Hi. I really don't have much to say.

Rachel's sick for like one of the few weeks that she's home which is incredibly annoying. I feel like I need to get out of Sammamish or my head will just burst. :-( Quite amazingly it feels as though the "drama" that comes with school hasn't exactly lessened. It's driving me completely insane!!!!!!!! I hung out with Kaitlin and Annie the other day which was oh so wonderful. I never see them anymore, seeing as we don't have the same friends, really. That is my entry today. I was thinking of resizing the pictures below but I changed my mind...too much work for lazy me.

Picture Post

Okayy. This is a picture post, in case you didn't read the title.

I also spent the night at Katrina's for her birthday party and we went swimming at night. It was FREEZING. Yep.

I LOVE DIGITAL CAMERAS!

Blue and Yellow

Okay so I've decided that when I don't know what to name a blog entry I'm just going to name it after the song I'm listening to. Just thought I'd clarify that this entry isn't about colors.

Today is...July 8......Warped Tour day tomorrow. I'm not going. :-( Chelsea's mom decided to be paranoid about basically any potential..hazard. I found it to be somewhat ridiculous, but whatever, we aren't going. And my mom didn't really want me to go ask Rachel and maybe even Jeremy to come with me because....they aren't entirely responsible, I suppose you could say) Maybe next year.

In other news. Okay. So. I only talked a little about the Fourth of July. I guess I'll give you a stupid overview of my life if care to read it. Last Sunday Jessa, Chelsea, and I took Katrina to Red Robin and it was fairly embarassing for me because Katrina especially acted like a little child. Apparently her tummy hurt and while Jessa and Katrina were in the bathroom she requested that I move so that she could lay/lie/whatever down. I did, and then she lay there like a drunk person. That was just one thing that she did. But you know what, that's okay because it was her birthday...so I can put up with it for one day. After that Chelsea and I went shopping for something to wear to the wedding. It was kind of odd how we spent two hours in the dressing rooms and I wound up buying the first outfit she put together. Then I had to be back home by 6:00ish because Grandma and her friend from Minnesota were coming over for dinner. o_O Tuesday was a lounge around day. Not that you guys care but I discovered that I prefer Team Slayer to Team Skirmish. Philbsss introduced me to it. Wednesday was a lounge around day as well. All I did was sit around, watch old videos, play Halo 2 with Jordan and Philbin, and eat string cheese and stuff. Mmm, the cheese was probably the highlight of the day. Ohh yeah but at night Chelsea slept over and it was cool. We watched more home videos and stuff. So according to my calculations it is July 8, Friday. The end!

Happy Fourth

Um yeah so Happy Fourth of July. Or, Fifth of July. Ehh, whatever. :) I went with my family to the Hewitts' and the Gees' houses. It was nice to spend the Fourth of July with one of my best friends. Fireworks are basically illegal here now...I don't know about other places. The fine is $1000 if you're caught lighting fireworks that go off the ground. Haha, basically everyone broke that law last night. Too bad.

New maps out today.

Sadness.

I've saved the previous template so I'm able to change it back. This one has comments and I've felt the need for comments for quite awhile. So it's back to the nice dot template.

I finally did something and now it looks like I'm going to be busy. Yesterday, Friday, Chelsea and Katrina slept over which was really fun. It was pretty funny because Katrina (who is often quite strange) called her older brother, asked for a ride home and give him directions to my house. We both sat out on the porch waiting with her and then realized that about 45 minutes had passed. I don't know, maybe you had to be there. Katrina needed to leave because it was Customer Appreciation Day at the pet store <--"her domain." (I must say that she is REALLY ODD sometimes even for my standards) Chelsea stayed till 6:45 pm. Tomorrow, Sunday, is Katrina's birthday and one of her best friends and one of my friends, Jessa, is going to get a few of us together and kidnap Katrina...then go to Red Robin. Sounds like it should be fun. Monday is the 4th of July and we're going to the old neighborhood for the pretty much annual party. :-) Tuesday I don't know what except that it's the 5th and that's when the new maps for Halo 2 come out!! So you might be able to guess what I'll be doing. Wednesday has plans pending. I'm happy to be busy now, but I think I needed the week of laziness.

Ohhh yeah and --- Katie is it the Warped Tour you're planning to go to? :-) I REALLY want to go to that but I really don't want my mom to wind up coming or anything. And I don't know if I have friends who would want to go...unless Rachel is in town, but then again she's going everywhere this summer. I donno.
