and by busy i mean in a happy way, not overloaded with school way.
recently jenna and i went to seattle. we went to snocon, evo, and a veg chinese restaurant called bamboo.. best things ever. EVER! and square lotus too. sooo amazing i love my life in these moments. we brought a little gps system named pamela and really suck at following directions because at one point we wound up down at the port area with all the crates... ummm, it was somewhat creepy. but the whole thing was really funny.
my family also went to that sculpture museum in seattle. it was pretty cool! um i'm sorry i tell every detail of my life, or at least seemingly.
i bought a snowboard and bindings for 40% off on thursday. and they're actually high quality and we saved like $230. burton stigma and burton escapade bindings if you care to know what i'm talking about. um. i really love being more laid back about my life and doing things that really make me happy (or at least within reason, i guess..). i also really enjoy being impulsive and spontaneous...which is sort of how things seem to work out for me as of late. i think i like my life a lot better when i do things that i like and kind of stop caring about most of the rest.. does that make sense? okay, whatever. anyway.. jenna and i randomly decided to go to a snowboarding shop on thursday and they were having a 40% off sale as the season's ending and everything. we found this one board that we had been wanting to get for me, or i had been wanting to get but whatever you know what i mean because it was kind of both of us, and we just decided to get it. and they gave us magazines and a huge burton rug too. free stuff is the best thing ever and i got loads of it today and i really hate censoring myself sorry if this sounds hideous and awkward meeeeep.
then they randomly had a screenprinting press so that was kind of weird, and.. ummmmm, oh yes, they also had this random coffee/bar thing in the back and we got the best mochas and italian sodas i have ever had in my life. now i am in debt to jenna by about $350 or $400 but i will be paying her back in time and we are both laid back enough to not really care. but honestly i don't know if my dad will read this but it really pisses me off how he randomly made a big deal about it. because it doesn't matter and this is something between me and jenna and he doesn't need to be involved or concerned.
on friday jenna and i went snowboarding. we also know someone who works there and can get free lift tickets which is really really convenient. sorry about my lack of proper punctuation it really doesnt matter to me sorry! ummmm, it was nice to go up but the snow sucked and it was really foggy so we stopped early and sat in the car and waited for the rest of our group to come back from the park. while we waited we ate a large container of fortune cookies and taped the cool and/or kr33pst3r fortunes onto her car roof with really cool stickers like glittery flowers, weird smiley faces, and...pieces of grass..stickers.
i should also mention that i do not like the idea of my father reading my blog or knowing my myspace url. i find that to be somewhat controlling and overprotective and i really think that my parents need to let me do whatever a little more. if i want to pierce my lip i think i should be able to... and it's not even that i necessarily would pierce it..part of what bothers me is that i can't. whether they think it's weird or whatever i don't think it really should matter..because it's my body and my life. i also think that the idea of me going on road trips this summer shouldn't be a big deal because i have spent hours in the car with my friends already and i believe that we are perfectly capable of staying without chaperones for a few days without dying.
also on friday i had the worst test ever.. i have never had a test that made little to no sense. we didn't learn most of the things on it and our teacher was absent the week of the test. we also had things on the review that we never learned.
then on friday night right after getting home from snowboarding i went to laura's birthday party. i fell asleep about one to two hours after arriving because i was very tired. they started watching what seems to me like one of the worst movies ever made...the covenant. umm. i thought it was a bad script and bad acting and a bad plot and everything, but i didn't get to see the whole thing because i fell asleep so early. i'm really surprised that i didn't wake up with weird decorations on my face or anything. because of all this i missed kaitlin's performance at a benefit concert, but there will be others.
on saturday i visited pcc and had lunch with jenna. we had sushi yay, and then i went to sea garden for dinner with my family. it was really good.
sunday, today, was awesome. mamafest, a breast cancer fundraiser, was held at snoqualmie. jenna and i volunteered there and spent a good amount of time selling raffle tickets and handing out i love boobs stickers, hahaha. everyone there was hella cool, even this older woman that jenna somehow began calling mom. i don't really know, but everything was cool. people were demoing boards and skis, there was a comp, a raffle of like $10,000 worth of stuff, sponsor booths with free things, a band, music, a rapper who was actually really cool, and stuff. we got hella free stuff like a large bag mostly full of beanies and some shirts (most of which we plan on selling on ebay..), the most random shirt with a fairy guy on it, stickers, mamafest hoodie and shirt because we volunteered, qdoba gift card, steeeeezy orange hoodie, stomp pad, gloves, idk but there was so much stuff. do you understand how much i love free stuff? i do not think that you do. we watched people in the competition for awhile too. today was cool. i also thought it was hilarious because jenna was like the mamafest mascot. she has neon/highlighter green pants with pink lettering and a neon pink and green beanie, and then the mamafest stuff just happened to be themed neon pink and green. she got a lot of comments, needless to say.
i kind of worked on my lit essay due tomorrow but i guess i'll just finish it in accounting. i am going to go to sleep.
WASL TESTING TUES, WED, THURS, and again MON and TUES. NOOooooOOooo!
at least tomorrow we're going to go get mochas in issaquah again. and apparently 300 is good. i want to see it now, and i also wanted to see factory girl...but... yeah. i also really hope we go somewhere for spring break for a few days. i am also looking forward to vegfest with jenna the 24th and 25th. and then nin year zero release in april, and the nin listening party at the emp in seattle if i go on friday. and shows coming up if i go, but i think if i don't go to placebo i will explode. there was something else, but i don't remember. oh well too bad for you haha no. k. the end. oh wait! jenna and i dyed a little sort of stuffed doll llama but not... green too! okay bye
